What We Do

Collective Skills Project run a range of practical workshops and events within the community, which focus on learning and developing key life skills.

We believe that many life skills have become lost through the generations and many of these skills have been forgotten in today's throw-away society and digital age.

We want to change that.

With loneliness, both in the younger and older generations on the rise and the majority of residents not knowing who their neighbours are, we want to reduce loneliness and isolation by bringing people together in local communities, to develop and share key life skills.

In particular, the older generation will play a key role in passing down their skills, trades, experience and knowledge to the younger generations, to ensure key skills are not lost and forgotten.

We have recently collaborated with Hartshill and Harpfields Residents Association to run a range of community events in Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent.
